This place is great! I can only stand about an hour of it personally because of noise but what can you do, it’s popular for a reason and I won’t downgrade them for that reason. Scotch flight was fun to split with my wife and gave a good sampling of some drinks, including my favorite Macallan 12! Crab dip was solid, wife ordered the hen and it was good. I went with the pork loin that was absolutely brilliant! Solid crust/sear with a juicy center. Seasons complimented the pork so well. Same palette with the Brussels sprouts that really tied it together. Mashed red potatoes with little chunks inside, great! Fantastic experience from all the staff. Usually have at least one staff stand out as less than great but they were all customer focused. Low-light/candle lit through out, so smooth atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place. Look them up on socials for the weekly password. 😉

I’ve been here a couple of times now and I must say I loved my last experience the most!! I ordered the filet mignon with red mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts! Every bite was delightful! I also ordered the crab dip.. tasty but there wasn’t much crab meat! The drinks are cute and have quite a kick! I loved the “Shiv”! Please don’t forget dessert! The bread pudding was amazing! Cool speakeasy vibes, great for date night, girls night, happy hour, awesome atmosphere.. make sure you know the password 😉! ..

My first time here and me and my brother really enjoyed it! I had the shrimp andouille pasta and my brother had the file mignon and the taste was simple yet fresh and flavorful the drinks are strong so he prepared lol the ambience is calm and the waitress was friendly and always checked on us periodically on time so definitely recommend and I will return

Olivia was an amazing bartender. She made our experience unbelievable! Our initial plan was just for drinks, but she was so impressive with the menu options, we stayed for dinner. The grilled ribeye was spectacular, as well as the old fashion, both which was her suggestion. Thanks for a wonderful evening, meal and drinks.

Came w my wife and had a great dinner. The soup, roasted red pepper, was the star! The coconut shrimp was good too, and I forgot to take pictures of my steak and wife's entree, but both were great. We loved our drinks, and the music really gave this place a pleasant vibe. Perfect atmosphere / ambiance for a date and if you were coming just for drinks. Very friendly service, too. We'll be back.

My first time entering this speakeasy and it was so amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. So cool. Extensive cocktail menu and the drinks were on point! Food was excellent too. Bartenders were friendly and knew their stuff! Good recommendations on everything. Can't wait to go back when I get to Richmond again.

Love this place. Olivia is a great bartender and waitress, very attentive and an absolute delight. Bake Brie is still always a winner for me. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more.

I discovered this speakeasy through a close friend's birthday party. The initial highlight is the entrance, and the atmosphere. The food was good, but the food choices did not accommodate the vibe. (That's my opinion) The drinks were amazing and the customer service was top notch. I will visit again.

Had a great experience. Be prepared with the passcode, a good joke, or a fun fact to be let in. Lol. Had a few appetizers between the two of us and a couple great drinks! They had a large list of whiskey options! Best part is, they smoke drinks and include egg and some drinks like the whiskey sour.

My wife and I came here for the first time tonight for a Date Night. It was lots of fun! You enter into an unassuming front that inside looks like a bookstore. You give the password, which changes weekly, and the Hostess opens a bookshelf and you step into a 1920's Speakeasy! Kenny, our server took great care of us, refreshed our drinks and made great recommendations throughout the night. He was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed his humor. The atmosphere, food and staff are amazing. My wife had the Gnocchi and I had the New York Strip. For dessert we had the Blueberry Cheesecake. It was all amazing. The music was period and was loud. Not so loud that we had to shout to hear each other but it drowned out everything outside our table. It was fun though. Parking can be tricky. We lucked out and found a spot right out front after the ban on parking ended (4 PM - 6 PM). Thanks for a wonderful time!
